Marian and family,

I'm so sorry for your loss and pray for comfort in this very difficult time

Mr. Stokes was always smiling on Sunday morning as the boys showed up for Sunday softball. We may not have had our "A" game, but Mr. Stokes & Mr. Pynn would make the day worth while. He was a wonderful friend and coach...Stoga, sorry I could not make the services. My prayers and thoughts to you and your family.

Thank you everyone who wrote such kind words.Geoff truly loved people especally all the friends of his children. He was my husband for 52 years ànd that is still too shot of time to spend with him.Wonderful husband…\wonderful father/wonderful umpy.we will always love him

On the few occasions that I had the privilege to spend time with Mr. Stokes, I was left with the lasting impression of a man who had a great love of life and who knew what was truly important: family and friends. So sorry for your loss, and may his memory be eternal.

You will be greatly missed and remembered Mr. Stokes because you represent all that is good in the living, and it shows and will live on in the family you've created that exemplifies all that you stood for. I know you are so proud, and everyone including myself is better for having known you. Thank you Stoga for sharing a great father and friend with us. No denying a greater father, friend, and husband couldn't be had.

I had known of Mr Stokes from others around town. Without having yet met him, I could tell he was someone of substance and someone worth getting to know. I did get to know him sometimes in the early 90s, and yes, he came as advertised. He related to all, he was a leader, a doer and had a 'can do' attitude. He made the world a better place. God Bless.

Geoff and the Stokes clan attended many Hickory Hawks Ski Club Golf / Banquet weekends in Glen NH.  Geoff would request a golf cart with handicap flag so he could drive the cart just about anywhere on the course he wished.
