George was and (is still) in my best growing up years memories. I have had the honor and privilege to know George as a friend. My days have had less daylight since I have heard the news.

we were sorry to hear of your loss. as i read all the wonderful things said about george, i started remembering our high school days and it brought a smile to my face as george was genuinely a nice guy and he will be missed by all. the entire quinn family of rockaway

Growing up across the street from the Abbate family in WML and going to school with Sue and Janet, I have so many memories to look back on. Although our paths barely crossed in our adult life I can remember the same great qualities in Georgie back then, that everyone loves him for now.
