George Joseph Badeau

On this day of memory, I send my deep condolences to the Badeau family on the loss of your brother, George. I recently visited my brother, Brad, at Mt Auburn only to discover that George has passed. I enjoyed my visits and talks with George through the years - tours of gardens in Cambridge, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the BPL, Arboretum and Old South Church. We shared an interest in antiques and history. He loved art/architecture and was quite knowledgeable about many things of interest...

George's life ended far too soon. He was an interesting person - intellectually curious and knew a lot about a lot of different things. He will be missed.

Good bye. You were always and forever my little brother and just like Daddy, you were curious about everything around your world. I´ll never forget pretending to be sick so I could stay home from school when Mom & Dad brought you home so I could see you first!
