I learned about George Brady when I read the book Hana´s Suitcase to my fifth grade students, Queen of All Saints School, St. Louis, MO. We also saw the play at Edison Theater, and were so happy to hear that George was able to attend. His sister Hana was able to fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher through this book. I will always be so grateful for having indirectly known George Brady, an amazing person.

I have only talked to Mr.Brady as a child but its a vivid memory of mine what a kind man may God bless him.

When I was in grade 5, I was introduced to the book 'Hana's Suitcase'. It allowed me to understand the significant tragedies behind the Holocaust and taught me how to become a better person. George Brady came to my school in 2017 to talk about his experience during WWII as well as what he did after. It was super interesting to hear about his life. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his family and friends.
