Not sure what to say?

What a kind, smart, generous man! I had the privilege of working for Brown and Company in the 1980's....when George used to ride his bike to work! What a time that was. I was charmed and surprised on Sanibel Island years later: A man was approaching us on a nature trail wearing a Brown and Company tee shirt, and I thought, I am going to tell this man I worked there......and it was George with his lovely wife Jane! Such a nice memory. My condolences to his family.

George was one of the best people I have had the pleasure of meeting. He helped me in my career so I could support my family and yes as employees we all felt we were a part of Brown & Company. We worked with him and he always rewarded folks for their hard work. The world needs more like him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I will always remember him fondly Molly

I would like to express my deepest condolences to Caroline, Russ and all of George´s loved ones. I worked with George at Brown & Company from 1996 until his retirement and I remember those days fondly. He was a kind, very funny, straight-forward man and a living legend. He hosted the best Friday office parties and treated everyone well. As one colleague once said "This is the last bastion of corporate freedom". Rest in peace George.

My heart is sad to hear this. I worked for George in the early 1980's. He was the best to work with - always jovial with great care and consideration for the company, the customers, and always the employees. He earned our loyalty and will be missed greatly.

What a remarkable man May he rest in Peace
