Not sure what to say?

Think of him often. I admired his compassion for a lot of young guys who were trying to figure life out!

Great example to all! Always will be missed.

So sorry I missed this news. He was a wonderful man who was a great father to his two sons.

I was part of the breakfast club for a while, until life interfered. I could not always attend , but I always enjoyed the time I spent with George, Reba, Mary and Jack. During my training for my Private certificate, I flew with several Central airlines pilots, a great bunch. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Deepest sympathies to the family including the extended family in his life. I will always remember him as strong and handsome in his uniform at Easter and Thanksgiving holidays. Then later to begin teaching her to ride only to be interrupted by the war. Prayers with you all. Ellen Vervoort

My sincerest condolences to the family. May the strength and peace that only God can give comfort you during this difficult time. Psalms 29:11

George gave me flying instructions in a Luscome 8A and a Piper Cub. He was the most calm person I have ever known despite my terrible flying. Some how I managed to get my private license but it would have never happened without him. I have always had pleasant memories of those early flying days.
