Thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time. I really appreciate and enjoy the memories from my childhood when we went to visit my grandparents who lived next door to Uncle George, Aunt Sandra and my cousins George, Wayne, and Donna. I would always go and visit them as soon as we got to my grandparents. I remember swimming in their pool during the summer visits and spending many holidays together at my grandparents´ house! So much fun and great times! RIP Uncle...

Mr. Davenport was my homeroom teacher at West Pittston High School in the early 60´s. He taught at the time a rather strangely titled civics course ( which many disliked) called POD or Problems of Democracy. So he introduced us who listened to him the concept of critical thinking! One can´t ask for much more from a teacher. On another side of his humanity he drove my aged grandmother from Plymouth up to West Pittston to visit her daughter, my mom every week or so.
