Not sure what to say?

Rosemary- you don´t know me but I was very good friends with George´s sister Maureen when we were young. I lived across the stree lot from them in Middletown. We lost touch as we grew up but I remember your husband as a little kid. He was a great kid- always wanted to be a fireman like his dad. I was just looking at the obits on the internet and saw his. I am so sorry for your loss. He had a great career doing what he wanted to do and I am so happy for that. Time goes by so fast and...

Well, I was on the 1959 Kiwanis Little League team. I was a bench warmer and George was the starting Catcher. He for some reason liked to play warm-up catch with me. In one game (Tommy LaBella was pitching) George Dunn hit a home run that cleared the center field fence by a great distance. I had never seen the like from anybody in Little League. We won the Championship that year and George had a lot to do with it.

Rosemary and family, Donna and I are deeply saddened by George's passing. We just found out today and there are no words to adequately express ourselves at your loss. Out deepest sympathies go out to you and your family.

George was a great customer of mine at Liberty Bank and I enjoyed the times that we had talking baseball amongst other things. He will be deeply missed by both of us.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Chief Dunn. worked on some CFCA projects many years ago. He was a true professional and gentleman Thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this this difficult time

I was shocked to hear, George was a kind Man, always a smile, always something nice to say.

I’ve known George since soon after he started dating my cousin, Rosemary Montante. I was in their bridal party and she in mine. Living in NY, we always tried to get together at least once a year and always enjoyed George’s many stories, his absolutely good looks and his smile, which was always ear to ear. Going to miss you so much.

A Great Chief, an incredible man, but most importantly, a great and loyal friend. May you rest in peace Chief, at the side of our Lord Jesus. Stretch a line for all of us!
