He was a good friend and good football player. He was always easy to be around and we laughed a lot.

My condolences to George's Family. I had the pleasure of being associated with George in his football days at YHS. He helped a young teacher/coach learn and appreciate his craft. Jim R. Pell, PhD, YHS Class of '53 and 61-65

George, you will be missed dearly. You were a great Tata to the boys Nathan, Roman, and Nikolas. I always enjoyed our conversations about our trip from Dallas to Yuma and your knowledge about the different routes. Moonshiners season just finished and thank God Mark and Digger didn't go to jail. Thank you for introducing me to Forged in Fire. Great show too. The Peña family sends condolences. Rest easy.
