George John Gesslein II

I worked with George to port his Mathomatic library to iPhone. It was an ideal fit for the iPhone because it was compact and efficient. I talked to George periodically and helped him test Mathomatic as he developed new features. He was a hard worker, dedicated to making a lasting impact and creating an elegant mathematics solution. He will be missed.

George and I shared a common interest in mathematics and open source software development. He loved when I would test Mathomatic, his open source pride and joy, find little bugs, and suggest new features. I counted him as one of the good guys. He made positive contributions to the world and he will be missed.

Our hearts go out to all of you. We know the struggle he faced and the challenges you all met bravely day to day. We love your family dearly, if there is anything we can do, please let us know. Cyndie, Chiann, Lani, John-Francis, and Tomas
