GEORGE HALPERN

Professor Halpern was my instructor at New York City Community College 1952-1954. His classes and his encouragement through out the 2 years were an inspiration for me to pursue a degree in education teaching graphic arts for 30 years. It was one of the highlights of my association with him when he asked me to become an instructor at the college for a number of years. I extend my condolences to the entire family. I have wonderful memories of dealing with Dean Halpern, when working at the Voorhees Campus on 41at Street in Manhattan.
Dean Halpern made the entire campus feel like a college family.

We were sorry to learn of George's passing and want to express our sincere sympathies to you, Stella. The two of you did a lot for Island Pond and we thank you for that. Keeping you and your family in our prayers.
