To the family of George Henry, I am a co-worker of George when he work for HISD. He was a man who was love by many and I know this is a hard time but now he is home with "God and may "God" give you all the stength to overcome the grief.

To the Henry Family,
Deacon George Henry will be missed dearly. He was a dear freind to the Hackett and Baker Family. He had such a major impact spritually on us and how we grew spiritually. He encouraged the young and the old to attend Sunday School. Matthew 11 vs. 28 states, " Come to me all who labor and or heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Deacon Henry was truly a solider on the battlefield for GOD. He was committed to being about his fathers business. We are so glad to have met such a spirit filled man, who was full of life and the love of GOD. The Henry Family will be in our prayers.

I pray that GOD be with the Henry Family during their time of bereavement. Deacon Henry was such an inspiration to me and my family. Nobody could do devotion like "Deacon Henry". He was one of the best Deacons of Progressive and I use to enjoy seeing his smiling face and hearing him speak. He will be greatly missed by all.

I thank God that He brought George Henry into my life to serve as my mentor for 23 years. What he has taught me is both invaluable and eternal. His mild-manneredness, soft-spokeness, easy-going demeanor, always positive attitude, and unwavering devotion to Christ all contributed to make him the epitome of a Christian gentleman. Now, God has given him ultimate healing. We pray for that God grants the Henry Family His strength, comfort, and consolation during this time of bereavement. We thank God for the privilege to have known Deacon George Henry.
