Not sure what to say?

Gorges has been one constant in my life since it opened. I still go down there for a meal each time I visit one of my adult children. As many others I have taken my grand children there as well. George raised a wonderful caring family and a working persons Deli. He will be missed by so many. My prayers ar with his wonderful family. Be thankful for the time you had a wonderfulnces man in your life. Betty Durkin

Louie, so very sad to hear about your loss. We will keep your family in our prayers. Sandra, Alan and family.

God Rest your Soul, George. Lou, Tara and family, blessings and condolences. We were blessed and greeted by a gentleman, every time we walked into the Deli. Always during the worst of storms he would especially stay and feed us the best of meals. You know Lou when the power would go out. I would call, tell you, " don't close " we will have you powered up shortly. Knowing we were all exhausted, starved and your Dad, you and family would feed and rejuvenate us. Your Dad has taught us all !!!...

Louie and Family I just heard of your your fathers passing. He was a special man who always made you feel welcomed. I started buying torpedos there when he opened and have not stopped. He was loved by all who knew him. Truly one of the best men I have had the pleasure of knowing. I hope you can take comfort in all you and your family have done for/with him over the years and cherish the memories you have working side by side in the family business.

Louie and family - we are deeply sorry for your loss - your Father was such a nice man! Both Leo and I started going there with our families in the 60's and later together for many years.. How proud you must be knowing all the lives that he touched with his Kindness and wonderful Smile.
God Bless!
