Not sure what to say?

George was a great man and role model, My grandmother and mother loved working there and My first job too! Took my girl on first date to Louie's and 34 yrs later she's still here. Thank you George, Billy, Tony for making me look good enough for her and always making us feel like family. Whenever we are in town, we always go "home" to Louie's. George will always live in our hearts.

I just heard of George's passing! I was a bartender for Louie's Pizza in 1981 and I always enjoyed George. Billy and Tony, if you read this, I don't know if you will remember me! My name is Dave Purdy! I have been living in Minnesota the last 20 years. Please feel free to drop me a line at [email protected]

So sad to hear, we just found out about our landlord's passing, our condolescence goes out to the Patterson family. Will keep you all in our prayers. Mr George was a great person and will be truly missed! - 1010 North.

I am so sorry for your loss. I always loved being not only greeted by George but being greeted by name when I would walk in. And in turn when he would come into my local place of work to purchase we all knew him as well. He will be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Patterson family,
We are so sorry for your loss. George was a great man who will be missed by many. We truly will miss George, but his kindness and stories will always be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of sorrow.

Ray and Donna Lind, Palm Coast, Florida

My prayers are with all of you. I worked for George while he was at Blumberg's and kept in touch through the years at Louie's. He met my mother at the restaurant and never failed to ask about her health. When she passed, the first words he said to me were "I'm so sorry to hear". George was the kindest person I've ever known. The world was a better place with him in it. He will be missed.

George will be truely missed. I know I will miss the pleasent greeting when I would walk into Louie"s for dinner. He always had a very warm welcoming tone to his voice. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the Patterson family. Not only is Louie's a Waukegan icon, so was George. We'll will all miss you. Rest in peace friend to all.

Four generations of Coulsons have enjoyed knowing George and his family. He made Louie's restaurant into an icon which is discussed by present and former Waukegan residents wherever they meet. We will miss him and his smile very much. Rose, Bill, and Beth Coulson

To the Patterson Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. George was such a wonderful human being with a heart of gold. He touched so many lives in the community and will be truly missed by all. Zoi se sas.
