Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear about George,I started my police career in the Town of Tilton in 1976. Back in those days it could be a pretty rough and tumble Town at times. George took me under his wing like a big brother and taught me the ropes, but kept an eye out for me.Over the years I lost touch with George but I have never forgot him. I was going to pass through Tilton seems I have more time time on my hands since I've retired and stop to see George. Upon getting information on George's...

George Prescott served the town of Tilton well. He was exceptionally helpful to me during my years as Dean of Students and Headmaster at Tilton School. George was a capable leader who demonstrated solid judgment and both understanding and compassion for adolescents. He was an excellent public servant who brought distinction to his department.

RIP George

Shannon, Mary, Peter & Pam,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am not able to attend the services but please know that I am thinking about all of you. May you find comfort in remembering your beloved father this Father's Day, and every day.

George was the chief of police in Tilton when my husband and I owned the Tilton Inn. We had such a wonderful working relationship with him; he made our efforts to "civilize" the Inn that much easier. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time.

R.I.P George---My condolences to family he was a good friend to my husband Pete Perthel--always made us laugh. He will be missed by many.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
