Not sure what to say?

He really loved Bill Haley and The Comets. Will always think about him when I hear them.

Balderdash! As Mr. Pruitt would call it when he heard someone either make something up or say something he didn't want to hear. A truly lovely guy. One of my favorite teachers to the point that taking him for one class in junior year wasn't enough, so I took him for two classes my senior year. He had a tremendous sense of humor and he appreciated it when his students played along. We had one record at the TV station, the Beach Boys' Endless Summer, and he would ask us if there was anything...

Mr. Pruitt, along with JL, were the BEST teachers in ALL my years of education. I wanted nothing more than to stay in that TV Studio all day behind the camera. In 2004, 22 years after graduating UHS, I was doing lighting for a fundraiser a library in Indianapolis. Didn't realize until after I got home that he lived very close to there! Wish I could have met up with him... Such a nice and funny guy. Still have his business card from school. And some pictures from a party at his house in Union....

RIP George. You were far and away my favorite teacher and a big influence on my early life. CAST was a great class and very innovative for its time. Although I am late, my condolences to all the family members and everyone that loved him.

He was a very special teacher of mine and this brings very fond memories

A friendly and outstanding colleague. Always supportive. RIP

Mr. Pruitt was an excellent teacher in CAST at Union High School. His humor and good nature have never been forgotten. Rest In Peace George.

One of my favorite teachers ever....Class of 76.... RIP Mr Pruitt.... you are one of the reasons I became a teacher! Godspeed! Gayle Levee

Mr Pruitt was the real deal. He didn't put up with B.S.. If you were serious about television productuon he helped you as much as you wanted. He was an inspiration. I only wish I had him more then one year.
