George Saltzman Obituary

George Saltzman, 89, of Northbrook. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Saltzman, nee Levin; loving father of Mark (Marcy) Saltzman; proud grandfather of Marissa (Brandon) Prosansky, Alyson (Chad) Freeman, Courtney (Brett) Neuberg, Taylor Saltzman, and great grandfather of Archer Finn Freeman; adoring brother of Lee (the late Robert) Davis; caring uncle of Susan Friedman. Mr. Saltzman is also survived by his dedicated caregiver Maxell Iligan. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette, IL 60091. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer's Foundation (www.alz.org) appreciated. For funeral information 847-256-5700.

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of my dear and remaining oldest friend George. Arnie and myself and George and Dottie honored each other at our respective weddings. We maintained our friendship for more than 70 years. I miss both of them by will always carry them in my memories.
