Not sure what to say?

Dear Jackie,
I was so sorry to hear about Pete.
Ken Parnell sent me an e-mail advising me of his passing.
We lost my brother, Leo, on Jan.1st.
I know they all enjoyed the Cousin's Club for many years. Please thank Paul for us and send him our love.
Seems like we're all going way too soon.

I just wanted to let you and your children Linda & John know that your in my thoughts and prayers; and I extend my deepest condolences to all of you.

Jackie,
I got to meet Pete when I first took the officials exam back in 1974. He instantly became one of my mentors and helped me achieve my successes as an Basketball Official. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Jackie--I'm sorry I can't attend the services for Pete. Knowing him both on the court and off the court, at his best and his not so best, one thing is for sure, Pete gave it his all not matter what he was doing. He always sought to help others. I am blessed to have known him. May he rest in peace and Jackie you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sue Petullo LaRoche

Dear Jackie: I am so sorry that I will miss the services for Pete. I am in South Korea on business. Donna and family will be there to support you. Please know how much I thought of Peter, and how good he was to me. If I can ever assist you with anything, please do not hesitate to call. You will always be in the IAABO 95 Family. Uncle Pete was an Uncle everyone should be so fortunate to have and know. His handshake, jokes, spirt, prayers when we needed hope and prayers of thanks when our families were together helped me learn at a young age what is important in life. I am thankful and grateful. I know he has impacted many lives. Rest in peace Pal !

A true gentleman and professional who always worked for the greater good of all. Having known and worked with Pete for many years through IAABO # 95, he will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jackie------Even though we have been out of the area for many years, I read the Lowell Sun on line every day. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.

The paths of life Pete and I traveled crosed 45 years ago because of our mutual love of basketball officiating and membership in the "International Association of Baseketball Officelas" (IAABO). Quickly, we became fast friends and he became my mentor in IAABO; wherein, we jointly contributed over the years to many valuable changes in the organization that have had profound and lasting affects.

As faith would have it, we both eventually became the President of IAABO at different...
