Not sure what to say?

George and Linda, I was working in the Monastery Gift Shop in Ferdinand, IN, when the two of you and George came in. He seemed to be a kind and gentle person with such a beautiful smile. I was so sorry to read of his death and offer you my sympathy and prayers. Sr. Ann Marie Howard, OSB

My husband worked with him and George was so surprised that I spent time in Poland N Y. Hope you are watching all the love being sent from the other side. Gordon really liked you and thought you added much to the paper. I wish I got to meet and know you.

George will be missed. Prayers in this difficult time.

Dear Linda and George,

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. You are both in my prayers.

With love and sympathy,
Jean Frink

Linda and George,

I've only just heard the horrific news.

I am heartbroken for you. It's a singular devastation to lose a child. I've lighted a candle for the sweet repose of your son's soul.

with much love, prayers and heartfelt condolences,

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

We are so sad to hear of George's passing.
Our deepest condolences to his family.

I worked with George at The Times Herald-Record in Middletown, N.Y., and he was a larger-than-life figure with a booming laugh and easy way about him. He could be playful one moment and be serious the next when it came to work. We stayed in touch and I watched as his career advanced and he kept his good humor about him throughout. I am at such a loss for words. My deepest sympathies to his family. This is a profound loss. I wrote a tribute to George here:...

Although I never met George, I saw many pictures with Alex and can see the beautiful smiles and laughter. My condolences to the family and may George Rest in Peace.
