Not sure what to say?

I would like to offer my deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of Stan Talbot. During my years at Orford HS he was my teacher for French, English and even study hall. I always enjoyed his classes. He was a dedicated educator to his students and an exceptional mentor/advisor for the French Club. I enjoyed several trips to Montreal. Rest in peace Mr. Talbot.

I remember Mr T. for so many things, but two of the most precious were: 1) In 1979, he lead a group of us back from the annual French Club Montreal trip on bicycles. It was an amazing three days. Such adventure, laughs, and experiences I still talk about to this day. It was also on this trip that we got to see the 30-speed bike he often talked about. He would later honor me in my senior year book by writing how amazed he was that I was able to complete the whole trip and on a 5-speed. He...

Stan Talbot was an awesome French teacher and a very memorable person. When I was walking to school and he passed me in his car, he would give me a ride and talk to me about his experiences in the Peace Corps. I will never forget that his favorite country at the time was India because "it was so full of color." Well, may heaven be as colorful as India. Bon Voyage, Monsieur Talbot.

Elsa and Sara, I am very sorry for your loss. I always loved spending time with your fine family when we were all young, walking calves, swinging in the hay loft, sitting around the great big dining room table with your Mom´s beautiful blue and white dishes. And always with Stanley´s gentle and friendly presence, tall and strong. Big virtual hugs to you.

I remember biking with him and he generously shared his darkroom with me for several years.

My sincere sympathy to Mr. Talbot's family. He was a teacher when I was in Orford High School in the 1970's. I never had one of his classes, but I always remember his friendly, easy going personality.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Talbot's passing. He was a wonderful teacher to me and my brothers. He was a favorite teacher of my oldest brother (Ken Gendron Orford High School 1980) for years. Ken and Mr. Talbot had a wonderful friendship that went well beyond the classroom. They had so many shared interests of French, going to Montreal, photography and very actually very similar personalities!! My brother Ken passed away in 2012 so I am sure that he and Mr. Talbot will be reunited. Mr....
