Not sure what to say?

George took me to the S. Street Seaport one evening for me to give a talk about oyster farming. I worked for L.I Oyster Farms for 14years. I ran the oyster dredge in his namesake. Much respect. Sorry for your loss Much respect for G. H

We will miss George. But his courage and committment will be remembered.

There is truley a new angel in heaven.

Mary and I were great admirers of George.Always eager to do for others,a dedicated Christian. And he
lived to his Christ Church come true.

May your memories warm your heart and give you peace.

I was a shepherd in the Sheperding Program your dad founded at the LB Chapel in memory of your mother. He cared for others and his generous support in providing instructors and training materials helped make that program such a success.

My sheep were truly grateful for the program and my life was enriched as well. God's richest blessings on you and your families.

I did not personally know George. I am a fairly new member and sing in the choir at Christ Church and love our church home and family as he did. My father was in the Navy in the Phillipines during WW11 and my son Scott graduated from Renssaeler Polytechnic Institute so I feel a bond with you. I was happy to read about all the wonderful contributions George made to the lives of those around him. What a wonderful man he must have been. May God bless all who feel the pain and sorrow of George's...

DEAR PAMELA & KAREN,
WE WERE VERY SADDENED TO HEAR ABOUT
YOUR FATHERS DEATH. WE KNEW HIM
THRU CHURCH ON LBK. HE WAS A VERY
SPECIAL PERSON AND WE ENJOYED OUR
CHATS WITH HIM. I VOLUNTEERED AT
FREEDOM VILLAGE THRU A PROGRAM WITH
THE RED CROSS, SO I GOT TO SEE HIM
MOST MONDAYS WHILE HE WAS IN ROUTE
TO HIS TREATMENTS. HE WILL BE MISSED
BY MANY OF US, MAY ALL YOUR FOND
MEMORIES BE A SOURCE OF COMFORT TO YOU.
