Not sure what to say?

My husband and I had the good fortune to meet George at a party at the Rice Hotel many years ago. After my husbands death I had the pleasure of dancing a lot with George. Not only was he an excellent dancer, he was a wonderful gentleman who dressed impeccable. I truly loved George, as did many others. I miss you, George. Pat Sturman

My good friend George. I will always remember you and your warm smile and strong handshake you always had for me. Here it is January 2022 and I just learned about your passing away and understandably so because I was preoccupied with my father also passed away at the same time your obituary was posted. I only hope that I can follow in your "dance steps" to make it to almost 102 years young.

George was a very special person who would light up the room when he began to dance! We will miss him so much!
Rest In Peace George!!

My heart goes out to the family of this wonderful man. Thank you for sharing your memories.

George was so thoughtful ,loyal, kind, wise, funny and a great listener.

He brought so much joy to every person he met out and he never forgot a name or a face.

George made every room light up in every place he went. It was always fun to be around him!

The Jones and Stephens Family

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My heartfelt grief goes out to the family of Mr. Washington who was a coworker of my father.
Upon the passing of my father, Mr. Washington put a donation in my hand. For I know that Mr. Washington has passed for death unto life because he had Love for the Brethren.

I had the privilege of meeting George about 20 years ago and danced with him many times. Always a gentleman. Always kind. George was and still is a gentle force of good. We have lost a very special person. I'm sure he's dancing in heaven!
