Not sure what to say?

It is hard to believe 10 years have passed. I have such wonderful memories of George, being in band together, driving to school the last two years together and our parents being the best of friends through our childhood years.. He would be so proud of his children and would LOVE all his grandchildren.. RIP MY FRIEND GeorgeKim ... Miss you

Dear Diane,George,Lucille,Doug & Lisa,

As I recall some moments from my distant past, I remember with fondness of my relationship with Kim. With the great distance (McSherrystown to Littlestown)and age difference (he being eight years younger)we only interfaced during his visits to Grandma Spanglers house and our all too infrequent visits to George and Lucilles house in Littlestown.

Diane and family,

Just learned of George's death. My sympathies and prayers are with you and your family. I always think warm thoughts of you, George, and all of your sisters, even though it has been many years since our paths have crossed.

So sorry to hear of George's passing. He was a class act both inside and outside of the classroom. We were so lucky to have "Mr. Wherley" as Ryan's 4th and 5th grade math teacher at Alloway Creek (2004-2006). He was Ryan's (and his parents) favorite math teacher to date (from his teaching skills to his appearance, always in a tie...a true professional)!

We will always remember George for his kindness, character, strength, and great smile!

Please know that the...

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Lisa,
Sorry about your Dad. We're praying for you and your family.

Diane,

We are so sorry. George was my first friend Freshman year at Delone. We will pray for him and you.

All our Best

I met George at Rolling Acres and loved his sense of humor and his smile. I got to see George at my son's wedding in July and he said to me do you remember me. If you met George you never forgot George. He was always in my prayers when I learned of his illness. I am truly sorry for your great loss. Sincerely, Angie Orendorff

Diane,
I heard about George passing from Len Bennet on Facebook -- many great memories from our days together in the band -- my condolences and prayers are with you & your family.
