Not sure what to say?

Remembering George fondly from our days together in the 1st Company of USNA Class of 1961. May he rest in eternal peace.

Dear GG, its been 7 years but I wanted to write this. I love you so so much. I'm so sad that you are not here with me anymore. I look up to you so much. I want to be exactly like you when i grow up. i wish u could be here for all of the things i have done. i miss you more eveyday. i love you to the moon and back gg. i promise to make you proud - Lucy Rudzki

Mr. Youmans was one of the best men I have ever known. I had the honor to work for him many years. There could never be another one like him.

How so very fondly I remember "old Mush." That's what we called him in the 1sr Company, USNA, Class of 1961 because of his heavy "southern accent" -- Mush being short for Mushmouth. We all had nicknames. He was a solid citizen, reserved and focused, reliable, and a beloved member of the gang. God bless his soul. Warm regards to the family.

To the family of George
Its been 50 years since I have worked with George, I was stationed at North Island Naval Base from 63 - 67 And I was on the Carrier Hornet with George on Det N,
VAW-11 (E1B) Aircraft. I so enjoyed being around George as I was a Jr. to him and he always ask if I could go on different missions with him, he was one of the best pilots on our team. We got to know each other over the length of the Cruise and he was just a great person and Officer, So we can all...

I am fondly remembering George today on the anniversary of his passing and on my own birthday. Our US Naval Academy connection as classmates and company mates all those many years ago has very much transcended the many, many years that have passed. Rest in peace dear buddy. May you dwell in the arms of the Lord in peace and fulfillment.
