Read MoreI´m sorry for your loss. I would see Gerald periodically at church. Because we had lived in Goochland and Schuyler, Va ( Albemarle county though) we had talked about our experiences. We live about half mile from his Buckeye house. I didn´t send regrets sooner because I´ve been out of circulation due to health issues.

I extend deepest condolences to the family. Gerry was my mentor when I began teaching at Broadus Wood Elementary School in Albemarle County, Virginia. He imparted a plethora of knowledge and wisdom that helped me immensely. I am so thankful and grateful.
