Not sure what to say?

Jerry was one of the first people I met when I moved to El Paso 30 years ago at the EPAA. Throughout my career he’s was my “turn to” guy whenever I had questions about the lease or military. I will always remember his kindness and being a mentor to me. Rest peacefully Mr C. You are still loves my many and misses every day.

Jerry,
It was an honor to serve under your leadership in Vietnam.
I remember calling you in 2001 and you told me about the 31st Infantry association. It was in Pittsburgh in 2002 that we first got together after 32 years. Today there are several hundred men reunited because of our visit. You were a great man!

Carson Family,
What a lucky man I am for having known Col. Carlson! I met him at St Michael's Church. We shared a bond that transcended age differences. Like many other El Pasoans, I knew Jerry Carlson as the leader of the El Paso Apartment Association. He was not just an exceptional administrator, he was an exceptionally good man. I knew he had served proudly in the military, but I had no idea how accomplished he had been in that previous career. He never bragged about it. He darn sure could have bragged about it though. Wow. I was honored to have known him.
