Gerald Hanks

As a member of Jerry's high school class of 1952 in Ellensburg, WA, I speak for our class when I say we are proud that we knew the dynamic student athlete of the 50's. We saw Jerry at the 35th and 50th class reunions, where he enjoyed remembering his days at EHS. Unfortunately, we were not fully aware of his international celebrity and only recently learned of his death. Sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. He was my boss on the Patterns of Care Study until I resigned my position in 1990. I recall him as a tough, demanding leader who made us all better. My sympathies to his family.
