Funeral service for Gerald L. Hicks, 70, of Anniston will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Cox officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00pm on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens Gerald passed away peacefully at RMC on May 11, 2021 with his family by his side. Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife Pat; sons, Eric Clark (Wendy) and Bryan Clark (Teresa); grandsons, Chad Clark, Jordan Clark, Cody Clark, Ashton Clark, Aaron Anderson, and Blake Floyd; granddaughters, Breanna Elomina and Katie Clark; great grandchildren, Jayden Clark, Jaxon Clark, Asher Clark, Brixton Clark, Raelynn Elomina, Addison Clark and Ansley Clark; brother, Donald Hicks; sisters, JoAnn Chandler, Peggy Hudson and Janice Reynolds. Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Inez Hicks, and in-laws, Norman & Doris Smith; son, Jason Hicks; grandson, Brandon Clark. Pallbearers will be Chad Clark, Jordan Clark, Cody Clark, Dallas Elomina, Terry Dalrymple, and Tommy Turner, honorary pallbearer Blake Floyd. Gerald served in the United States Marine Corp. Served in the Alabama National Guard, and a Vietnam Veteran. Gerald drove a truck for 49 years. He was presently employed by K. L. Breeden & Sons. Gerald was a kind; loving person who cared deeply for his family. He was attending Cornerstone Church.
