Not sure what to say?

Miss you, Dad. Happy Father's Day in Heaven. We love you and think of you every day.

As the one-year anniversary of Dad's passing approaches, and the holidays near, the pain has not subsided. The memories, however, become stronger and clearer. His gentle touch providing security, his words of encouragement and pride, his goofy jokes, hearty laugh, and love for his family and life are still fresh in my mind. Missing you on this Christmas Day!

I knew Jerry (The Chief) the entire 12 years I spent in the fire house at Bradley Field. He was a great friend, and a wonderful mentor. Many of the management and people skills I use today, I learned from listening to and watching Jerry. When on a deployment you knew it was going to be a little better because he was along. I am very sorry to hear that he is gone.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your husband, grandpa and brother. I knew Jerry as a young guy mowing lawns for Barry and later on sharing a few beers at the German Club. He was always serving either the National Guard, the fire department or his family. Although brief, I am glad I had the opportunity to know such a nice man.
