Jere's smile and twinkling eye will always be fondly remembered. And his exceptional, ready knowledge of Cairns - he'd start talking, and reminiscing, and I'd always be wowed. I am so pleased to have been able to call him "friend" during the three years that I knew him.
Farewell and Godspeed, dear Jere, and may our paths, someday, somehow, cross again.

We were both so sorry to hear of Jeri's passing. The weather has cancelled our plans to visit with his family at the funeral home tonight. You are all in our thoughts. Jeri was a true Terrier in spirit. It's no wonder he loved our little Cairns. We have many fond memories of him especially the time he and a friend came fishing at our pond in Crown Point. He was determined to empty it of fish. It was quite a day and I remember it with smiles. A wonderful man with such a strong will. We are sad he is gone.
