Not sure what to say?

Wow, hard to believe he is gone and what great guy he was. i grew up near Pinecroft Dairy and was forever going to "Jerry's" for that nut and bolt and of course the Keys! To Jerry's Family he will always live through that store and never be forgotten......I'm sure Tom will make sure of that, keep the torch lit Tom.

What business, especially today, was run by someone so kind, nice, calm and gentle? A one-of-a-kind experience and store. A one in a million kind of person in Jerry. A true gentleman, he will be missed, but is reaping his reward for his service here. God bless him and his family.

Will miss his signs and his three keys.God has a place for a man like Gerry RIP .

Lynne,

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. I used to go to his store all the time for gardening supplies and he was always so kind and patient. He will be missed. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.

On Behalf of the Victim Services Program at Community Health Link Youth and Family Services, we want to send our condolences to Gerry's family and friends as he was so generous in donations to our After Homicide Program Peace Garden Event in the years past.

Dear Lynne,
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband. I know he was a loving and caring person and you will miss him greatly. Please know that my thoughts are with you at this time.
Sincerely, Sharyn Eaton

A little piece of my life just left me. I have been a customer of Jerry's since 1970. He was one of a kind, a neat guy. I had to plan 20 minutes for a trip to the store... 5 minutes to get what I came for and 15 minutes of friendly banter.

Gerry was a real community minded store owner. When I would ask for a donation for our Juvenile Diabetes golf tournnment he would always donate a four- step lawn treatment. His support for the JDRF would support me as well, knowing others care to hope for a cure.
Rest in peace neighbor.

How sad to hear this news of the passing of such a beloved man. Though it has been many years since I visited Jerry's Hardware Store and spoke to the wonderful owner, I clearly recall his kindness and helpfulness... no matter what questions or concerns I had. During mid-May I was briefly in West Boylston and glanced at the store as we drove by it. It was always a comfort to me, knowing that store was still there with that very sweet man to help in any way possible. Jerry was a deeply caring...
