Gerald R. Smith Sr.

Gerald was our neighbor when we lived in Sheffield. He was a sweet soul who always smiled and waved at those passing by. I enjoyed seeing him check the mail with his furry friend, Taz, always at his feet. Gerald often checked in on me when he knew my husband was deployed. During a time when I was locked out of my home, he offered to stay outside with me until my husband could come from across town to let me inside.
