Not sure what to say?

I received Gerald Wagner's obituary from my brother, Bob, who still lives in Olean, NY. When we were young, my father, Bill Bernard, would take our family to visit George and Florence Wagner on the Crooked Creek farm each summer. I can remember seeing the rattlers when a hay stack would be tipped over in the field. The Wagner boys always showed around the farm.

In his youth my father was a friend of George. Both of them were born in 1886 and my father married Stella Baker of...

When thinking of Pastor Wagner I like to remember his genuine down to earth qualities. When working on the addition to the Black Creek church we listened to a boxing match in which most of the men were interested. He took me deer hunting with him which I thought was very cool but unusal for a pastor. He also promoted the church camping trips to Allegheny State Park. Pastor Gerald Wagner was used by God to leave a lasting impact on my life for which I am eternally grateful.

Aunt Joie, Bob and I are praying for you and for your family. Trusting God to be your comfort at this time. Uncle Gerald married Bob and I 45 1/2 years ago. Where have the years gone? So thankful to the Lord for all of your family.

May God bless you at this time. God sent Pastor Gerald into my life at the time of my parents death and he was like a father to me in many ways as God's reflection of His Son. He is now with his Heavenly Father. God bless you all. My love to you all.

Dear Mrs. Wagner and family, You all are in our thoughts and prayers. We are honored to have known you and your family for many years now. Pastor Wagner was a godly man, a man of faithfulness and integrity. May the Lord's hand be upon you throughout the days and weeks ahead. He will never leave you nor forsake you. God Bless You, Love, Jerry and Nancy Glaser

Uncle Gerald baptized me in Shuey's pond. I still remember his prayer for me. I wish I could be there to help celebrate his life with you.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.
