Not sure what to say?

I had the wonderful opportunity to sit behind Jerry at work for about 6 months. His spirit and energy that he poured into everything was obvious. He had a very strong faith and loved talking sports. He was truly a kind soul and he will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

I really hardly knew Gerry, but the connection I had with him was as an opponent in our parish softball games at St. Luke's Church in St. Paul. Gerry spent a number of years as an assistant coach for the Red Team and I met him in this capacity. He hadn't done this for many years, so many members of the softball teams now would not necessarily remember him. But I remember him for his smile and his sportsmanship. I also remember him as someone I would see on Grand Avenue often. He was always...

Jerry was a wonderful and beautiful gift from God. His eyes always twinkled when he greeted you with "Hi Bud". My deepest sympathy to his family. We will all miss him.

I have worked with Jerry for many many years. We go all the way back to the days of First Computer Corporation! He was one of the kindest, gentle persons I have known. When he was a computer operator, he would have to call me at all times of the night if my program I had written had a problem. He was so nice, he would even apologize for waking me up. He would chat awhile untill I was fully awake and help me solve the problem. I will miss Jerry. I often think of the good times was had at...

Jerry will always live on in my memories. God called him home but I will remember those times when we walked into Mr.Steak and there were 10 waitresses waiting on him; the fun we had coaching the 'girls' softball team; his love of University of Minnesota sports; and his hesitation in calling programmers in the middle of the night.
Jerry taught us all one special thing - Live each day to the fullest. Let's make sure we never forget that!!

Jerry and I have known one another since 1969. Back then the company name was First Computer Corporation. I remember the days of broomball, his coaching of girls softball, company picnics at Como Park. The company went through numerous name changes. First Computer Corporation, First Bank, First Bank System, U.S. Bank, and finally The New U.S. Bank. We are now talking about 35 years here. And through all the changes we have experienced together, Jerry was always kind, pleasant, smiling and...

Heaven is a little brighter, this world is a little dimmer with Jerry's passing. Jerry was one of the happiest people I've ever met. We'll all miss his "Hey bud!" and big grin.

It's always hard to lose a beloved friend or relative. I hope that Jerry's friends take some comfort, among the inevitable tears, realizing that Jerry now experiences eternal happiness and joy with his Lord.

May the Lord give His Peace to Jerry's many friends and relatives,

I will always remember Jerry's smile and laugh when he saw you. He always would say 'How's it going Champ' or 'How are you doing kido'. No matter what kind of a day you were having just seeing Jerry made it better. He will be missed very much and just having known him is an honor.
