Jim and I are so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. She was such a wonderful woman of God in all that she did during her life. I will never forget the many things she taught me about hospitality, just from observing her day to day life. She always made sure that Cindy had a buddy to ride with her on those long trips from NJ to VA, to see this nice young man whom she liked a lot. Iam so sorry to hear of Gerrys passing. She was certainly a child of God. I enjoyed talking to her on the phone. She had such wisdom. The last time I talked to her, I asked how she was and she said, "Well, Im unable to get out of the bed now, but I have a wonderful view from my bed." She also said that the Bible says we should be content in every situation and she said that she was. I will surely miss our phone calls. My prayers are with you all.
