Not sure what to say?

Dearest Elizabeth, Sean, Michael, and Matthew, we are saddened to hear of Jerry's passing, we knew when he started to court your Mom, that he was going to go places, have a great career, and enjoy his family. He surely did.
May he now rest in peace. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. The Crupi's Joe and Jean

Words here can only paraphrase those expressed in a last email to Gerry. He brought out the best in us and won our unwavering loyalty through his selflessness.
