Germaine Cupolo, 74 Of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Florida Hospital Memorial. Germaine was born in 1943 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Germaine worked at Daytona State College with Student Loans. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and volunteered at the store. She was also a member of the Museum Guild, she enjoyed yoga, painting, book club, traveling and most important spending time with her family. Germaine was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Cupolo in 2016. Germaine is survived by her children; Monique Cupolo, Tony (Trish) Cupolo, Laurissa (Cliff Ives) Cupolo and Chris (Jaclyn) Cupolo; grandchildren, Thomas, Sophia, Gabriella and Viviana Cupolo; sister, Barbara and two brothers; Leroy and Louie. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home-Ormond Beach, 548 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL. I had the privilege to work with Germaine for the Museum of Arts and Sciences. What a lovely person she was! I worked with her in the book booth, and felt so blessed to get to know such a wonderful lady. How she loved her family! We had nice chats during our many hours at the Halifax Art Festival book booth. She was so competent and such a gentle leader. I not only really liked her, but I respected and appreciated her. I will miss her special touch as a friend and volunteer colleague. My prayers of condolence to her children, grandchildren, and extended family. I am one of dozens of friends and volunteers who grieve with you.
