Gertrude L. Berge

Gert was my mother’s (Joan Couchon Mals) childhood best friend. I know they are in Heaven having a great time and laughing together! Both wonderful women!

Gert will be missed by all that knew her. My deepest sympathies go out to her entire family. She was definitely the Matriarch of the entire Berge Clan...as an in-law of the Berge clan we were always included in all family activities...That meant a lot to my parents..My love to all the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren...she will watch over all of you for the rest of your lives. RIP Gert

On behalf of our mother we would like to offer our sincere condolences on the loss of Gert. She and our Mom were childhood friends and remained so throughout their lives. Although Mom can't remember those days any longer, we know she would have wanted to reach out to Gert's family. We pray for Eternal Rest for Gert and know she and Mom will meet again.
