Not sure what to say?

Dear Marguth Family, I worked with Gib at LLNL and remember him well. He was always there if you needed help and as recently as a couple months ago I called him for help in resolving a retiree health plan problem. Again he was there to help and did. Please accept my deepest condolences. Gib will be missed. Allen Levy

Dear Mrs. Marguth and family, I will always have fond memories growing up next to your family. I remember my parent's supporting Mr. Marguth's campaign with signs in our front yard. Your home was always welcome to the neighborhood kids. I am so very sorry for your loss and know you have many wonderful memories to treasure.

Dear Marj: The last time I saw Gib was at our class reunion and I'm a hugging individual, and he was the only one who returned the hug. That made me feel really good. Our visit brought back a lot of good memories of our youth. We all had quite a history together. I know that he will be missed. I hope that your good memories will be a comfort to you in the days ahead. I am so sorry.

Dear Margie, I was so sorry to here of Gib's passing. He was definately a standout in high school and continued thru out his life. So Sorry for you all. Ruth

I only met and knew Gib recently but I ALWAYS knew his name in this town. I thought I could not know someone who had such a reputation as a community person. When I met and talked to him, I realized what a great guy I had missed over the years and I was indeed worthy to have known him. He was a standout to me and I am pleased to have had that time. I'm sorry that you will be without him. He made a difference and at is any of us wants to do.

Rest in Peace fellow Patriot....
It was an honor to know you..

I worked with Gib on the Alameda County Republican Central Committee and helped him on his capaign when he ran for the State Senate. He had a sharp wit, was well liked and will be missed.

Dear Marj and family,
So very sorry to hear of Gib's passing. Would like to express our deepest condolences at this difficult time, to you and your family. We will miss chatting with him. He was such a nice person to have as a neighbor. May God bless all of you.

I taught at Parkrose High School when Gib was there long ago. After that I moved to California and resumed my art and mechanical drawing teaching at Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek. I have not forgotten him. Always a leader.
