Although I did not personally know the Combs, I know by the kindness they showed to my brother, Tim Greene, during his illness that they were wonderful people. They went above and beyond their Christian duty to support our family. We are grateful to have had them in our lives. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

My mom,Catherine Weaver, babysat Ginger and her sister Carol every day while Jewell worked. This was in about 1951, 1952. They lived right across NC610 from us.
