Ginger Combs Obituary
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Wolfe Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ken Grano officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3pm Olive Grove Baptist Church in Pinnacle, NC.
Born in High Point, NC, Ginger was a daughter of the late Hobert Everett Watson and Jewell Ione Allred Watson. She was a graduate of Allen Jay High School in High Point and retired from Wachovia. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking photos, quilting, sewing and even made her own wedding dress.
Surviving are her son, Timothy Alan Combs (Torie) of Fort Mill; her daughter, Jill Combs Bullister (Mike) of McMurray, PA, and seven grandchildren, Matthew, Madelyn and Wesley Combs and Michael, Mia, Colin and Hawk Bullister. She was preceded in death by her sister Carole Watson (1960).
The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Wolfe Funeral Home.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ginger was my first friend when I started work in Corporate Banking at Wachovia. She was a wonderful thoughtful person. My prayers are with your family in the loss of your parents.

Although I did not personally know the Combs, I know by the kindness they showed to my brother, Tim Greene, during his illness that they were wonderful people. They went above and beyond their Christian duty to support our family. We are grateful to have had them in our lives. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

My mom,Catherine Weaver, babysat Ginger and her sister Carol every day while Jewell worked. This was in about 1951, 1952. They lived right across NC610 from us.
