Dear Max ~ What a guy your Gino was! From the time we met as duplex renters at 16 & 16 1/2 Hoffman St. the four of us became like family. Here we are, 60 years later, and still staying in touch (all the way from Charlotte, NC) and sharing laughs. We are so grateful to have been with you and Gino just before he went to Heaven ... the angels clearly were on our sides. We know we'll all see little touches of Gino in our lives forever and we also know that Heaven now has a winning football...

I was so sad and sorry that I heard about Coach Alberici's passing Sunday evening while attending a Celebration Of Life for my aunt's partner. It was during a discussion about the Port Byron and Weedsport sport teams rivalries. I was shocked and made sure I checked the Citizen Obituaries this morning about 9 am. Maxine, So sad to hear of Gino's passing. He was the original 'influencer', touching so many lives. He was so special to and loved by the Class of 1972. Our memories will live on and he will be forever missed.

This writing from the back cover of her book "What is this faithful process of spirit and seed that touches empty ground and makes it rich again: Its greater workings I cannot claim to understand, I only know that in its care, what has seemed dead is dead no long, what has seemed lost, is no longer lost, that which some have claimed...

Maxine and family, I am sorry for your loss. Times like this are very stressful and sad for the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have known Gino since are high school days. He was always a perfect gentleman and a great friend. One of the most humorous things I remember happened at My son Eddy´s Stag Party.with Gino and Ron Crowell. That is a story for another time. Again My Thoughts and prayers are with you.
