GLADYS OLIVIA McCALL Gladys Olivia McCall of Fresno passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2006, at home, at the age of 90. Gladys was born on September 6, 1915, in Fresno, California to Henry Lee and Essie Noble. Gladys married Willard Ray McCall on August 17, 1935. They resided in Madera before moving to Fresno in 1956. She was a member of Eastern Star and Good Sam. Gladys enjoyed sewing, RVing, crossword puzzles, rock hunting, camping and fishing. In later years, she learned to play the organ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Ray McCall, who passed away in 1983; her daughter, Beverly Joan Crider, who passed away in 1990; and granddaughter, Kristine Bailer, who passed away in 1974. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Louise Matlack and son-in-law Dale of Meridian, Idaho; her son, Robert Lee McCall of Lodi, California; five grandchildren, Hal Bailer of Germany, Teresa Branic of Clovis, Kimberly Neal of Virginia, and Kurt Crider of Kallispell, Montana; and nine great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 6175 E. Kings Canyon Rd., Fresno, CA on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Interment was previously held at Chapel of the Light.
