I met Gladys at Legacy Commons Palmdale, preparing for a 4th of July celebration fashion show. You know how you never notice someone until after an introduction, then you see them all the time where you met. That's how it was for me, with Gladys. She was part of the fabric of 'the senior center', involved in everything. And she dressed to emphasize and support whatever was going-on.
