Not sure what to say?

We still value Glenn's presence in our hearts--beauty, mirth, eloquence, and joy!

I continue to hold and enjoy warm memories of Glenn - his smile, his warmth, his enthusiasm, his joy in making music, which we did together in 1970 in Amherst, MA when I was in grad school at UMass and he was living, for a time, with his sister there. He was a bright light that was extinguished too soon. Steve Gold

I first met Glenn walking down the main street in Amherst, MA in the spring of 1970. He was sitting on the stoop of the house where his sister Abbie was living , and where he was staying, playing blues on his guitar. I walked up to him, pulled a harmonica out of my pocket, and joined in. There began a musical and personal friendship that led to us frequently playing together at the UMass coffeehouse, and doing gigs in coffeehouses and bars in western MA and Boston during the rest of that...

I just learned of Glenn's passing through a blog by my friend Brian Pfeiffer here in Vermont. I discovered Glenn one sunny afternoon in the spring of 1971 on a set of steps of the house where his sister Abbie lived in Amherst, MA, where he sat playing the guitar. I walked up, pulled out my harmonica, and there began a duo that performed at UMass, local bars and coffeehouses, going as far as Boston, over the next year or so. I also visited Glenn in Camden and own several of his recordings. ...

Glen grew up across the street from us, his sister was my best friend growing up. I remember not only his wonderful piano playing but he played the guitar and banjo. There was always music!

A dear friend, swirling with joy in our family. Music wafts everywhere in our lives because of his companionship.

Tonight I discovered your fantastic lessons on You Tube about Ragtime Piano Music. It was then I learned of your death after reading it in comments section. Peace be with you Glenn, a talented and gifted musician.

Everyone in the ragtime community will certainly miss Glenn. He was a happy, energetic and good-willed member of our small community. He carried the music forward with his wonderful, original compositions and bowed to the ragtime masters with his always sensitive interpretations of their works.

One of my fondest memories is at the Sedalia ragtime festival. A thunderstorm was brewing outside during an afternoon concert. It didn't take long for the storm to shut off the electricity....

RIP Glenn, you brought much joy to all the Sugarloafers lucky enough to hear your vast musical talents. I hope you, Jud, and Uncle Al are making music and sharing stories again...
