Thinking of you every day, Dad! We miss you!

To: Glen Powell, my wife Nancy’s father, my father in law and my children Leah, Alec and Sara Rabinowitz’s grandfather.

It is with a heavy heart, filled with grief that cannot be explained in words that we learned of your untimely passing on the evening of Wednesday July 20th. While we are all heartbroken and deeply saddened that we were not with you immediately prior to your fatal illness, we are at the very least grateful that Nancy was able to share your last days with you.

Much love and warmth to Glenn, my grandfather. Back then, days seemed longer, like time never passed, just more time to spare. I remember my little ages with you, sitting on your lap on the tractor, mowing fields and fields beyond, fishing in front of your house wondering what I could find down there. Then to late nights at our favorite place to eat together- Kings BBQ. It was like yesterday I was sitting upstairs playing with my mother and brothers toys, smelling the sweet southern aroma of ...

When I remember my grandfather I remember siting on his lap riding his john deere tractor. I remember his house being my favorite place. I remember fishing at his pond. I remember playing with the dogs that lived next door. I also remember how he made chip beef and biscuits for breakfast. I remember his funny sayings and jokes.
