Not sure what to say?

GLENN WAS FROM STEADFAST FRIEND SINCE 1950 WHEN WE MET AS YOUNG WRITERS IN GREENSBORO AT AN ART FESTIVAL. HE WAS NOT ONLY A FINE EDITORIAL WRITER, BUT THE AUTHOR OF A VERY GOOD FIRST NOVEL. HE WAS A COURTLY GENTLEMAN WITH A LUST FOR LIFE.

What a good fate, to take his last breath in front of the place where his heart and intellect had served his fellow man so well for half his life. To Glenn's Family: He touched many lives throughout his life including his last years. Our church and in fact Norfolk will not be the same without him. What an honor to have known him even in a small way.

Dear Colin, Tyler, and Jonathan:
Our heartfelt prayers are with you during this time of mourning. May all your wonderful memories sustain you in this journey filling your minds with joyful memories.

What a wonderful, thoughtful, intelligent and caring man. Norfolk, the Virginian Pilot, the Naval Reserves and the arts are so much better for having Glenn being a part of each. My condolences to his family.
