Not sure what to say?

I started working for Ray Rakestraw in 1977 at the shop he ran at 1345 Bankhead when work got slow he took me across the street where I was introduced to Pete DuBose and Parks Powell and later met Mr. Taylor I worked with him several times in his overhauls till late I learned a very lot from those men but I had to leave Atlanta and Bankhead in 1987, I carry a vast knowledge of the welding trade thanks to the gentlemen mentioned but Glenn Taylor made it all possible for me.

I worked at Bankhead as my first job out of college. People listed below were some of my first bosses. Bobby Murphree, Lloyd Coursey, Ed Thompson. Mr. T. employed some of the finest people I have ever worked with. Rest in peace my friend.

Glenn was a Sigma Nu brother of mine at Ga. Tech. He made our fraternity a better place. I will miss him forevver.

SO SORRY TO FIND OUT ABOUT MR. TAYLOR. MY SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO ALL OF THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS, MARIE, GLENDA, AND JANICE, AND ALL OF THE GRAND CHILDREN. IT GOES WAY BACK TO THE 60'S. I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH JANICE AND WAS MYSELF A RESIDENT OF GROVE PARK. MR. TAYLOR WAS THE BROTHER'N LAW OF MY UNCLE, FRED COTTON, OF WHOM WAS ALSO THE BROTHER OF BEATRICE, OF WHO WAS A COTTON BEFORE SHE MARRIED MR. TAYLOR. MR. TAYLOR WAS A FINE AND UPSTANDING MAN. I WAS TALKING TO MY AUNT, WINNELLE...

My father, Bobby Murphree, worked for Mr. Taylor for over 40 years and sends his sincerest condolences to the Taylor family. My dad thought the world of Mr. Taylor as did I, meeting him on several occasions growing up and even visiting the Taylor farm a couple of years ago with my family. He will be remembered as a hero in my father's eyes. Unfortunately we just heard of the passing in December 2006, but still wanted to let you know we are thinking of your family....

It was such an honor to have such a wondeful man in my/our family. Glenn was a cousin of mine, related through my grandfather. I'm not much with words, but I really don't think that matters right now. Glenn will be missed more than words could ever begin to express!

I have had the opportunity to go to the Taylor Farm on a few occasions and was amazed what a beautiful piece of property it is and how hard Glenn worked to keep it that way. Our sympathy goes out to family and friends of Mr. Taylor.

Our sincere sympathy to the Taylor family. I have loved & respected Mr. Taylor for nearly 30 yrs.I will miss him greatly.

Our sincere sympathy to Mr. Tarylo's family. He was truly a great man with a wide range of influence for good. He shared his love with all those around him. Both our dads counted him among their friends as did we.
