Not sure what to say?

Dr. Gilbert could always see the light in the dark. I will miss him, as will everyone else. He was a great mentor and friend. He was that little friendly reminder that life has so much to offer. I met Gordon at Tope Elementary where he gave so much of himself. He shared stories of his past and his thoughts of the present. Later, I became a student of Dr. Gilbert's at Mesa State College. I enjoyed him as a person and as a teacher. He will live on in all our memories for the kind and...

Dr. Gilbert was a wonderful person and an excellent teacher. Not just in acedemia, but in all aspects of life. No matter what, he always had a smile on his face, a song in his heart and a spring in his step. I will never forget all that he taught me.

I loved his teaching styles and the way he touched the hearts of every single student he encountered. I was lucky enough to work for Dr. Gilbert here at Mesa State College for the last four years. He showed me that it is ok to care about others and he also showed me that not all people are bad at heart. He...
