Not sure what to say?

Life is too short. We are so lucky to have had Gordy visit us in Lynchburg for our traditiinal live music listening events in our home. He told me calmly and in his trademark matter-of-fact demeanor that he had "crossed swords" with the biological army that gets in the way of things. Gordy seemed to be resolved and ready to go forward with whatever was to come. Courageous in his resolution. I only hope I can be so in the face of the universal and inevitable path we all must hike. Gordy leaves...

Thinking of you Molly and your family. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. You have been a very faithful sister to your brother. Sending lots of hugs your way.

My family lived in the neighborhood, but we went to another school. Gordy was often spoken of fondly by George, Jim, and Stephen. His quiet demeanor was punctuated by bright witty enlightened courtesies and courageous banter. We were united in Chi Phi fraternity. I was late arriving there, and he me feel secure. One Easter, many friends met to camp at wooly China Grove blue grass festival. Everyone wanted to be with Gordy. Let´s all live like him!

I personally never met Gordy, but I know his sister Jenny Lee deeply loved him . My deepest sympathy to the family for the loss of someone so loved.

Gordie was such a sweet and wonderful person. Always had a smile and a nice hello for everyone. He will be so missed. I hope he continues his tradition with his family and friends that have gone before him. RIP Gordie.
